The summer is shifting into Fall. Three hundred Calendula plants are blooming - the Harvest of 2016 is on. It's a busy time of year - harvesting & drying, infusing oils and showing up at the Yale Trading Post down on Highway One, TransCanada every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We'll be there until mid-September, and then have plans to move to another Market down in the Fraser Valley. Will keep you posted on our location this Winter.
News - The phone number has changed to 604.863.0046. It's a Yale number. We've gone back to a landline. Until we change the graphic at the top, you will see a phone number no longer working. Hoping to update this Fall, after the harvest is in.
Thank you to everyone I've had the pleasure to chat with. You've made this a wonderful summer for skin care plants.
This Webstore provides you with information about this year's line of Herbal Oils, Salves and Perfumes available for sale, made in our Herbal Workshop. In our Garden, we grow Calendula & Comfrey naturally, without chemicals, to use in traditional skin care recipes, containing only plants, oils and beeswax as ingredients. No chemical additives at all. Not a one. Pure & Natural.
Skin care plants infused in oils are both cosmetic, maintaining healthy, glowing skin, and, medicinal, helpful for all the ailments of the skin. We infuse plants in vegetable oils known for their benefits to skin care: Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil and Grapeseed Oil.
Infused Herbal Oils with beeswax added, called 'Salves,' are solid and biostatic at room temperature, and serve as creams to apply to skin. Stored properly, in a cool, dry, dark place, Herbal Oils and Salves last a long time.
We add aromatic Essential Oils from Golden Bough Botanicals, Ltd located on Annacis Island in Vancouver, to saturate our salve into aromatic Perfumes, enjoyable as fragrances as well as useful to our skin.
